  • Responsibilities

    Sabre Systems is currently looking for a Logistics Analyst with an engineering background to support our customer in Lakehurst, NJ performing Product Support Management in the Logistics Management Integration Department. The selected candidate’s duties are:

     

    • Perform management of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program planning, development, and execution
    • Assist in planning and implementing Integrated Logistics Support for the life cycle of assigned system/equipment from concept through field deployment
    • Prepare written correspondence and verbally report on assigned programs
    • Analyze ILS program execution and/or assigned programs’ management/sustainment posture to identify deficiencies in established Integrated Logistics Support systems and resolve critical problems
    • Provide logistical and administrative support to the government customer
    • Candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining spreadsheets, tracking work orders, doing purchase requests, and more
    • Provide technical expertise in all areas of supply, inventory management, inventory accuracy and warehousing
    • Coordination of resource procurements

    Qualifications

    Requirements:


    • A Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Management (BSME/MSME) from an accredited institution, with some Logistics courses
    • Must have knowledge or basic experience in AutoCAD 2-D design, and product configuration management
    • MS Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project (Strong knowledge of Word and Excel)
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Ability to meet scheduled deadlines
    • Ability to travel, <25%
    • Must be a sole US Citizen, preferred an Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher

     

    Preferred Skills:


    • One (1)+ years of experience, in an engineering position is preferred
    • Department of Defense experience, preferred
    • Understanding of DoD Logistics and Acquisition, within the United States Navy, preferred
    • Understanding of NAVAIR Systems Engineering Technical Review process, preferred
    • Working knowledge of the CORE System software, preferred
    • Knowledge and understanding of SharePoint, preferred

     

    SOLE US Citizenship and either an Active DoD clearance (highly preferred) or the ability to immediately obtain a Secret clearance is required. Candidates who have had a clearance that has been inactive less than 2 years that can be immediately re-activated, may also be considered.
